The following two types of HTTP communication routes are also used:
• Between Replication Manager (on the management server) and a Device Manager Agent (on a
pair management server)
• Between Replication Manager (on the management server) and P9000 mainframe agent
If a firewall is installed for the network, set it up to allow communication with Replication Manager.

Securing management server and client communications
To encrypt communication between Web client and Replication Manager (on a management server),
you must specify SSL in the HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service. For details, see the HP P9000
