SolutionProblem and causeNo.
For a user without Admin (user management) permission:
Ask a user with Admin (user management) permission
to unlock the account.
For a user with Admin (user management) permission:
Ask another user with Admin (user management) per-
mission to unlock the account. Alternatively, execute
the hcmdsunlockaccount command to unlock your
own account.
To unlock the account by using the hcmdsunlockaccount
command:
1. Execute the hcmdssrv command to confirm that the
Common Component services are running.
If the Common Component services are not running,
execute the hcmdssrv command to start the Common
Component services.
2. Execute the hcmdsunlockaccount command to un-
lock the account.
In Windows:
installation-folder-for-Common-Compon-
ent\bin\hcmdsunlockaccount [/user user-
ID /pass password]
In Linux:
installation-directory-for-Common-Compon-
ent/bin/hcmdsunlockaccount [-user user-
ID -pass password]
For user-ID, specify the user ID of the user whose
account you want to unlock. For password, specify
the password of the user whose account you want to
unlock.
If the command is executed without specifying the user
option or the pass option, you will be prompted to
enter a user ID and password (in the interactive mode,
the entered character string is displayed by using re-
placement characters).
Note:
If the following symbols are included in the user ID or
password, you need to escape the symbol on the command
line:
In Windows:
If the user ID or password ends with a backslash (\),
use another backslash (\) to escape that backslash (\).
Also, if the user ID or password includes an ampersand
(&), vertical bar (|), or caret (^), enclose each character
with a double quotation mark ("), or use a caret (^) to
escape the symbols.
In Linux:
Use a backslash (\) to escape each character.
Note that, if a password is not set for the target user, you
cannot unlock the account by using the
hcmdsunlockaccount command.
