The command execution result is output to the standard output. If there is an output file, follow the
instructions given in the displayed message and confirm that the file contents are correct.
The following describes the output items:
• Number of hosts added
Number of added hosts (including the value for Number of hosts added or updated
with a warning)
• Number of hosts updated
Number of updated (overwritten) hosts (including the value for Number of hosts added or
updated with a warning)
This item is output only when true is specified for the overwrite parameter.
• Number of hosts that failed
Number of hosts that could not be imported
• Number of hosts added or updated with a warning
Number of hosts that caused a warning
MergeHost
MergeHost merges the WWNs assigned to hosts (source hosts) registered in the Device Manager
server database into one host (target host). The source hosts are deleted after they are merged.
You cannot merge the following types of hosts:
• Mainframe hosts
• External ports
• Virtualization servers
