Execute this command regularly to keep the Device Manager server database up to date. For storage
systems that are managed by Device Manager, configuration information that is created or modified
from the Remote Console, Remote Web Console, or RAID Manager is added to or updated in the
Device Manager server database each time this command is executed.
NOTE:
To specify a storage system and then refresh its configuration information, use the AddStorageArray
command. When the storage system already exists, the AddStorageArray command performs a
re-discovery operation on the storage system and refreshes the registered information on the Device
Manager server database.
Parameters
Table 77 RefreshStorageArrays command parameter
DescriptionStatusParameter name
Either of the following values can be specified to determine how
storage systems are refreshed:
• 1: Refreshes storage systems sequentially.
•
2: Refreshes multiple storage system in parallel.
#
The default is 1.
Optional
refreshmode
Interval time in minutes from storage system re-discovery
completion to start of next storage system re-discovery
Only specify this parameter when refreshmode=1 (when
storage systems are refreshed sequentially). An error will occur
if this parameter is specified when refreshmode=2.
You can specify a value from 0 to 2147483647.
The default is 0.
Optional
interval
The total number of volumes that can be refreshed at the same
time
Only specify this parameter when refreshmode=2 (when
multiple storage system are refreshed in parallel). An error will
occur if this parameter is specified when refreshmode=1.
You can specify a value from 1 to 100000.
The default is 16000.
Optional
maxldevs
#
SMI-S Enabled storage systems are not refreshed in parallel even if you specify 2 for refresh-
mode. After storage systems other than SMI-S Enabled storage systems are refreshed in parallel,
SMI-S Enabled storage systems are refreshed sequentially.
Parameter values to obtain in advance
maxldevs
Use the numberOfLUs and numberOfMfLDEVs values displayed in the execution results of the
GetStorageArray command. The numberOfLUs and numberOfMfLDEVs values are displayed
below An instance of StorageArray. Select the StorageArray instance that has the
