ModifyVirtualVolume
The ModifyVirtualVolume command changes the settings related to a THP/Smart volume.
For P9500
• This command expands a THP/Smart volume.
• This command applies the tiering policy to the Smart volume (the microcode version must be 70-
02-50-00/00 or later).
• This command enables or disables hardware tier relocation for a Smart volume.
For XP24000/XP20000
• This command assigns a THP volume to a THP pool.
• This command releases a THP volume from a THP pool.
• This command changes the usage threshold for THP volumes.
NOTE:
This command can be used only with P9500 and XP24000/XP20000.
For XP24000/XP20000, the following conditions must be satisfied when specifying a THP volume:
• If you are assigning a THP volume to a THP pool, the THP volume must not already be assigned
to a THP pool.
