-c sec
Specifies the interval (in seconds) at which host information is sent to the Device
Manager server. Host information is continuously sent to the Device Manager
server at the specified interval, until a forced termination occurs. Values of less
than ten seconds are recognized as invalid. Specify a value in the range from 10
to 2147483647. If -t is specified, -c cannot be used.
-t output-file-name
Specify a file name if you want to output host information sent to the Device Man-
ager server to an XML file. The file is output to the current directory.
The following characters cannot be used in the file name:
\ / : , ; * ? " < > | $ % & ' ` ^
Caution: The -t option can be specified in addition to the -s option. If both options
are specified, the information sent from the Device Manager agent and the mes-
sages received from the Device Manager server are output to the file. If -t is
specified, -c cannot be used.
hldutil command
The hldutil command is used to acquire information on storage system LDEVs, file systems, and
other devices. It also allows you to output the acquired information to an execution log file and to
view past execution log files. The hldutil command is stored in the following locations:
In Windows:
installation-folder-for-Device-Manager-agent\util\bin\hldutil.exe
In Solaris, Linux, or HP-UX:
/opt/HDVM/HBaseAgent/util/bin/hldutil
In AIX:
/usr/HDVM/HBaseAgent/util/bin/hldutil
