SMI-S VA Description
SMI-S VA v1.02.02 allows CIM-capable management software to manage Virtual Arrays.
SMI-S VA resides on the HP OpenView Storage Management host. SMI-S VA uses the
Storage Management Initiative Specification (SMI-S) which is a new standard developed by
the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA).
As a component of Command View SDM, SMI-S VA resides on the management host in the
SAN or LAN.
