HP StoreEver Command View for Tape Libraries (CVTL) v. 3.7 and Interface Manager Firmware v I274 Release Notes
• Dynamic mapping of hosts could fail while heavy backups in progress Modified the time-out and
priority level for dynamic host mapping to allow dynamic host mapping to complete during periods
of heavy backup activity.
• Old key data could be retained in SKM after drive FRU swap Fixed a case where the SKM database
retained both old key data and new key data after an LTO4 tape drive configured for encryption
was replaced.
• SMI-S discovery failed with 2.32 and Storage Essentials Fixed in release 2.50
• Command View TL user interface would add a library, pass the connectivity test and then show
that the library was not communicating Fixed in release 2.50 as part of the Interface Manager
Data Base Integrity fix.
• Parse error when attempting to read Alert Log in Command View for Tape Libraries In certain
rare circumstances, attempting to open the Alert Log in Command View for Tape Libraries would
result in a parsing error, and the Alert Log would be unreadable.
• Empty Alert Descriptions in Command View for Tape Libraries Alert Log Fixed in release 2.50
• Source slot for drives not shown in Command View for Tape Libraries This would make it difficult
to return media to their original slots after using them in a drive. The source slot for the Media is

drives command line interface command.

any time the Interface Manager clock is re-set, and by default once every 24 hours
• SKM/ICAPI failover timeout SKM/ICAPI failover would time out before connecting to SKM’s listed
in next tier. The problem stemmed from configured timeout values being interpreted as microseconds
rather than milliseconds.
