1 10GigEthr-03 overview 1.1 Bundle description The 10GigEthr-03 bundle contains the iocxgbe driver, which supports the following products: PCIe 10 GbE card PCIe 10 GbE mezzanine card PCIe 10 GbE / Fibre Channel combination cards PCIe 10 GbE CNA card PCIe 10 GbE CNA mezzanine cards AT118A NC532m AT093A AT111A NC551m AT094A NC553m 1.2 Terminology When referring to CNA (Converged Network Adapter) technology, the following terms are used: Adapter The CNA.

2 New and changed features in this release 2.1 New features The following feature is new with this version of 10GigEthr-03: • Support is added for vPARS version 6.0. The iocxgbe driver is enhanced to support vPARS version 6.0. To use vPARS 6.0 with cards supported by the iocxgbe driver, version B.11.31.1111 or later of the 10GigEthr-03 bundle is required. • ServiceGuard support is enabled for NC552m. ServiceGuard support is enabled for the NC552m adapter in this release. NOTE: Effective with version B.

Multi-queue enables traffic to be partitioned across CPUs. The CNA supports only receive multi-queue operation. Multiple queues are supported only on the first PCIe function for each port: function 0 (port 0) and function 1 (port 1). The iocxgbe driver sets the number of receive queues for each of these PCIe functions to 5; the default was 1 prior to this release. The number of queues for each remaining PCIe function is 1 and remains 1.
