This version enables support for the HP NC552m Dual-Port Flex-10 10GbE BL-c Adapter (part
number 610609-B21) on HP Integrity BL8x0c i2 servers. For more information on supported
servers, see the HP-UX Ethernet Card Support Matrix on the HP website at:
http://www.hp.com/go/10-gigabit-ethernet-docs
IMPORTANT: At the time of this publication, NC552m adapter firmware version 3.104.322.0
is required for use in HP Integrity servers. If you purchase an NC552m as a stand-alone
product, it might ship with a lower or higher adapter firmware version pre-installed. You must
install firmware version 3.104.322.0 before booting HP-UX.
NC552m adapters that are pre-installed in a server with order option 0D1 have the correct
firmware version pre-installed.

Downloading NC552m firmware
To download NC552m firmware for HP Integrity servers, follow these steps:
1. Go to the HP Business Support Center website at:
http://www.hp.com/go/bizsupport
2. Click Download drivers and software.
3. In the “Search products field, search for NC552m.
4. On the “Product search result” page, click HP NC552m 10Gb 2-port Flex-10 Ethernet
Adapter.
5. Under “Select operating system, click Cross operating system (BIOS, Firmware,
Diagnostics, etc.).
6. Locate the link labeled “Firmware and EFI driver for Integrity servers” or similar. To
download the firmware and EFI driver package, click the Download button. Installation
instructions are included in the download package.
