1 10GigEthr-03 overview 1.1 Bundle description The 10GigEthr-03 bundle contains the iocxgbe driver, which supports the following products: PCIe 10 GbE card PCIe 10 GbE mezzanine card PCIe 10 GbE / Fibre Channel combination cards PCIe 10 GbE CNA card PCIe 10 GbE CNA mezzanine cards AT118A NC532m AT093A AT111A NC551m AT094A NC553m NOTE: Newer versions of the 10GigEthr-03 bundle add important features and support for new HP-UX technologies. HP recommends upgrading to 10GigEthr-03 version B.11.31.
2 New and changed features in this release 2.1 New features The following features are new with this version of 10GigEthr-03: • Support is added for multiple new products. 2.2 Changed features The following features are changed with this version of 10GigEthr-03: • The user interface is enhanced. The user interface has been enhanced, as follows: • ◦ Help information is improved in the configuration files for various parameters. ◦ Additional data are included in the nwmgr and lanadmin info and card_info displays. ◦ VPD data is included. ◦ Changes and clarifications are made to the iocxgbe man page. ◦ New help information is added for ifadmin change requests.
4 Known problems and limitations The following problems are known to exist in version B.11.31.1109: • ServiceGuard support is not enabled for NC552m in version B.11.31.1109. ServiceGuard support is not enabled for the NC552m adapter in this initial release. ServiceGuard will be enabled in a future release of the iocxgbe driver. NOTE: • ServiceGuard is fully supported on the NC551m Converged Network Adapter. Problems occur when using SNAP (Sub-Network Access Protocol) encapsulation with VLANs.
Software availability in native languages The 10GigEthr-03 product is available only in the English language.
