DESCRIPTION:

This contains the latest version of HP StorageWorks Cluster Extension (CLX) XP for HP

Serviceguard for Linux. HP StorageWorks CLX XP improves the performance and safety of your

disk array by enabling write-protected XP disk array disk sets and by checking disk status

information in case of a server or complete site failure, allowing application service recovery even in

the worst disaster. It works only with HP StorageWorks XP disk arrays.

- Cluster Extension XP supports the same kernel versions that are supported by HP

Serviceguard version A.11.16.05 for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (32 bit and x64) and SuSE

Linux Enterprise Server 9 (32-bit and x64).

- The XP10000/12000 firmware should be version 50-06-14-00/00 or later with Raid Manager

version 01.18.06 or later.

Installing from the web download package (www.hp.com/support/clxxp) is equivalent to running the

setup.exe file in the individual component directory on the CD.

2. Download the file T####-#####_hpclxxp_v2.07.00.tar.gz to a temporary directory on your

system.
