3. Run the installer by doing one of the following:
• Double-click the HP 3PAR StoreServ Cluster Extension installation package.
• Run the HP 3PAR StoreServ Cluster Extension installation package from the command
prompt. This option is used for Server Core or Hyper-V Server installation. See Microsoft
documentation for more information on installing applications in a Server Core or Hyper-V
Server environment.
4. Follow the on screen instructions to accept the license agreement and enter your identification.
The Setup Type dialog box appears.
5. In the Setup Type dialog box, select one of the following options, and then click Next:
• Select Typical to install the resource DLLs, resource extension DLL, PowerShell Cmdlet DLL,
CLX command line interface (clx3parrun.exe) and documentation.
• Select Compact to install only the resource DLLs, resource extension DLL, PowerShell Cmdlet
DLL, and CLX command line interface (clx3parrun.exe).
• Select Custom to select specific components to install.
The Cluster node selection dialog box appears.
6. Select the cluster nodes for 3PAR StoreServ Cluster Extension installation, and then click Next.
The Choose Destination Location dialog box appears.
