4 Bug fixes

The following bugs are fixed in HP Insight CMU v7.2:

Backup and cloning

• Fix golden node backup with an fstab containing valid but commented entries, e.g.

#/dev/sda4 ext3.

• Fix a rare race condition on some slower hardware where the backup starts before udev

creates the block device partitions.

• Update all netboot environment HP tools to the latest versions.

• Clean golden node specific log files (var/log/messages, dhcp leases, etc.) at cloning.

GUI

• Prevent appearance of unexpected tooltip when a menu is displayed.

• Support DES password in GUI.

• Remove error-prone link image with in Modify Logical Group.

• Fix bugs in host name validation when adding or scanning nodes.

• Fix issues with open source drivers by upgrading JOGL.

Diskless

• Add cmu_diskless_nfs_servers file to saveConfig and restoreConfig allowing

a proper restore at scale.

• Fix diskless boot failures in SLES 11 SP2.

• Fix diskless CentOS image creation errors.

• Add InfiniBand config and driver support into diskless initrd.

• Add igb driver dependencies for RHEL6U4 diskless clients.

cmu_mgt_config

IMPORTANT: cmu_mgt_config now stops and restarts the tftp daemon (in.tftpd) on

configuration change and prefixes the previous file instead of postfixing, avoiding a possible restart

of the tftp daemon with the previous parameter set.

• cmu_mgt_config now supports multi-homed DHCP servers.

Miscellaneous

IMPORTANT: Fix a race condition in cmu_autoinstall that deleted dhcpd entries when

launched multiple times in parallel.

• Fix cmu_fw_mgmt_tool failures when /etc/issue banner is configured.

• Fix kickstart failure when %end is not the last statement in the %post section of the kickstart

config file.

• Fix abort in cmu_condense_names with too many nodes.

• Automatically refresh connected GUIs when cmucli adds an autoinstall group.
