Ethernet Configuration Commands
show interfaces description
The show interfaces description Privileged EXEC mode command displays the description for
all configured interfaces.
Syntax
show interfaces description [ethernet
interface | port-channel port-channel-number]
Parameters
n interface — Valid Ethernet port. (Full syntax: port)
n port-channel-number — A valid port-channel number.
Default Setting
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Privileged EXEC mode
Command Usage
There are no user guidelines for this command.

The following command displays descriptions of configured interfaces:
