reload
The reload Privileged EXEC mode command reloads the operating system.
Syntax
reload

There are no parameters for this command.
Default Setting
This command has no default configuration.

Command Usage
Caution should be exercised when resetting the device, to ensure that no other activity is being
performed. In particular, the user should verify that no configuration files are being downloaded
at the time of reset.
Example
The following
command reloads the operating system.
Console# reload
This command will reset the whole system and disconnect your current session. Do you want to
continue (y/n) [n]?
