Fabric / Switch Name If launched from a fabric, displays the fabric name.
If launched from a switch, displays the fabric name and the
switch name.
FC4 Type The active FC4 type; for example, SCSI.
FC Address The Fibre Channel address. Each FC port has both an address
identifier and a world wide name (WWN).
Filter check box / link Select to filter results from the Port Connectivity View dialog
box.
Flag Whether a flag is on or off.
Hard Address The hard address of the device.
Host Name The name of the Host.
Long Distance Whether the connection is considered to be normal or longer
distance.
Switch/Device Model The model name and number of the device.
Parameter Device parameters.
Physical/Virtual/NPIV Whether the port is a physical port, a virtual port, or an
NPIV_port.
Port IP Address The port’s IP address.
Port Module The port’s module.
Port Name The port’s name.
Port Number The port’s number.
Port Type The type of port; for example, U_Port (universal port) or FL_Port
(Fabric loop port).
Port WWN The world wide name of the port.
Prohibited Whether the allow/prohibit matrix is activated.
Refresh button Click to refresh the dialog box.
Serial # The port’s serial number.
Speed The current port speed, in gigabits per second.
Status The port’s status; for example, Enabled, Faulty, Healthy,
Unknown, and so on.
Switch The switch name.
Switch Dynamic Load Sharing Whether switch dynamic load sharing is enabled.
Switch FCS Role Whether the Fabric Configuration Server (FCS), which is the
primary point of control that manages all the switches within a
fabric, is enabled.
Switch FMS mode Whether the File Management Solution (FMS) mode is enabled.
Switch Has Certificate Whether the switch has a certificate (true or false).
Switch IDID Whether the switch’s insistent domain ID (IDID) is enabled. If it
is enabled, the IDID is the same ID that is requested during
switch reboots, power cycles, CP failovers, firmware downloads,
and fabric reconfiguration.
