CLI syntax
portcmd
ping: Pings a d estination IP address from one of the source I P interfaces on the GbE port.
Usage
portcmd --ping [slot/]port args
Arguments
-s src_ip
Species the local IP address to use for sourcing the
probe packets
-d dst_ip
Species the destination IP address to probe the IP router
path
Optional arguments
-n num_requests
Species the number of ping requests. The default is 4.
This operand is optional.
-q service_type
Species the type of service in the ping request. The
default is 0 and service_type must be an integer from 0
to 244. This operand is optional.
-t ttl
Speciesthetimetolive. Thedefaultis100. This
operand is optional.
-w wait_time
Speciesthetimetowaitfortheresponseofeach
ping request. The default is 5000 milliseconds and the
maximum wait time is 9000. This operand is optional.
-z size
Species the default packet size to a xed siz e in bytes.
The default is 64 bytes. The total siz e, including ICMP/IP
headers(28byteswithoutIPoptions),cannotbegreater
than the IP MTU congured on the interface. This
operand is optional.
ipperf: Determines the path characteristics to the remote host.
Usage
portcmd - -ipper f [slot/]geport args [optional_args]
Arguments
-s src_ip
Species the local IP address to use for sourcing the
probe packets. ipperf will not start if an IPSec-enabled
tunnelusingthesamesourceIPaddressexists
-d dst_ip
Species the destination IP address to probe the IP router
path.
-S
SpeciesthesourcemodetoinitiatetheTCPconnection.
-R
Species the sink mode to accept the new connection.
The end-to-end path characteristics are not reported.
