Uninstalling Application Recovery Manager Software
Chapter 374
Uninstalling Application Recovery Manager
Software
If your system configuration changes, you may want to uninstall the
Application Recovery Manager software from the system or remove some
software components.
Uninstalling is removing all the Application Recovery Manager software
components from the system, including all references to this system from
the IDB on the Cell Manager computer. However, by default, the
Application Recovery Manager configuration data remains on the system
because you may need this data in the future upgrade of Application
Recovery Manager. If you want to remove the configuration data after
uninstalling the Application Recovery Manager software, delete the
directories where Application Recovery Manager was installed.
If you have some other data in the directory where Application Recovery
Manager is installed, make sure you copied this data to another location
before uninstalling Application Recovery Manager. Otherwise, the data
will be removed during the uninstallation process.
Uninstalling the Application Recovery Manager software from a cell
consists of the following steps:
1. Uninstalling the Application Recovery Manager client software using
the GUI. See “Uninstalling an Application Recovery Manager Client”
on page 75.
2. Uninstalling Application Recovery Manager Cell Manager and
Installation Server. See “Uninstalling the Cell Manager and
Installation Server” on page 76.
You can also uninstall Application Recovery Manager software
components without uninstalling the Cell Manager or client. See
“Changing Application Recovery Manager Software Components” on
page 78.
