• The archive logs to the selected point in time must be available for the database
recovery.
Limitations
• The restore of control file and archive logs is not supported by Application
Recovery Manager.
• The recovery process will fail if the log entry with the specified logseq number or
SCN number was created before the target volume.
Microsoft Cluster Server clients
Before you start restoring a cluster-aware Oracle server, take the Oracle Database
resource offline using, for example, the Cluster Administrator utility. See
Figure 34 on page 121.
