Manager licensing
In this chapter
This chapter contains information about how Application Recovery Manager licenses
are checked and reported, and about how to obtain and install Application Recovery
Manager passwords.
Introduction
The Application Recovery Manager A.06.10 product structure and licensing consists
of two main categories:
1. Cell Manager Pack
2. Functional Extensions
Passwords are bound to the Cell Manager and are valid for the entire Application
Recovery Manager cell.
License checking and reporting
Application Recovery Manager licenses are checked and if missing, reported during
various Application Recovery Manager operations, for example:
• As a part of the Application Recovery Manager checking and maintenance
mechanism, the licenses are checked and, if missing, reported in the Application
Recovery Manager Event Log. Application Recovery Manager Event Log is located
on the Cell Manager in AppRM_home\log\server\Ob2EventLog.txt. For
