• If standby and failed management systems have the same hostname,
no action is needed.
• If standby and failed management systems have different hostnames,
remove the failed system from the Application Recovery Manager
configuration, and then add the new management system.
IMPORTANT It is recommended to use the default port number (5988 for non-SSL and
5989 for SSL-based SMI-S provider connection settings).
It is also recommended to run omnidbsmis -ompasswd -check
[<hostname>] before instant recovery to verify the configuration of CV
EVA.
