Support for Application Recovery Manager SAP R/3
integration
Application Recovery Manager A.06.10 introduces support for the SAP R/3
application running on Windows and HP-UX systems. The Application Recovery
Manager SAP R/3 integration and the disk array integrations (HP StorageWorks
Disk Array XP or HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array) enable you to perform
backup and restore of SAP R/3 data files, control files, and redo logs. Other SAP
R/3 objects (SAP R/3 archive logs, SAP R/3 init files) can be backed up only using
third–party backup software.

Support for HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array
integration
In the Application Recovery Manager A.06.00 release, HP StorageWorks Enterprise
Virtual Array was supported only through the VSS/VDS framework, together with
the Application Recovery Manager SMI-S agent, on Windows systems. Application
Recovery Manager A.06.10 introduces support for HP StorageWorks Enterprise
Virtual Array on Windows and HP-UX systems using the Application Recovery
Manager SMI-S agent alone. You can back up and perform an instant recovery of
disk images, filesystems, Oracle, and SAP R/3 databases.
