To present virtual disks to the host using HP Command View EVA:

1. Create a virtual disk on the EVA storage system.

2. Specify values for the following parameters:

• Virtual disk name

• Vraid level

•Size

3. Present the virtual disk to the host you created for the DataFort FC520 storage port virtual initiator.

Presenting virtualized EVA LUNs in DataFort FC520 to the Fibre Channel hosts

using DMC

When creating Cryptainers to present LUNs to the Fibre Channel hosts, select Port Mapped (virtual

hosts) as the mapping option. Port mapping is the only option supported by HP.

To ensure high availability and for MPIO DSM to work properly, you must grant access to LUN 0 for

all Fibre Channel hosts that need access to other LUNs.
