green and the System LED flashes at 6Hz. When the reset is
complete, the System LED flashes as 1.5Hz.
Placing the Interface Card in Maintenance Mode
Placing the interface card in maintenance mode is disruptive.
Consider rerouting critical data traffic before using maintenance
mode. To place the interface card in maintenance mode, do the
following:
1. Press and hold the maintenance button with a pointed tool for
approximately 10 seconds. Release the button when both the
Power LED and the System LED are steady green.
2. To exit maintenance mode and return to normal operation,
press and release the maintenance button momentarily to reset
the switch.
Software
The LSW1FC4P0 card operation is controlled by its resident
firmware that interacts with the management tools. These
management tools include the command line interface (CLI), the
QuickTools web applet, and SNMP.
QuickTools
The LSW1FC4P0 card firmware includes the QuickTools web
applet, which is an interface card management graphical user
interface. QuickTools is available over the Ethernet management
port connection. You run QuickTools by opening the LSW1FC4P0
Card IP address with an internet browser. QuickTools provides the
following management features:
• Faceplate device management
• Interface card and port statistics
• Configuration wizard
• User account configuration
• Interface card and fabric events
