IMPORTANT:

If you are using a “-B” controller, you cannot downgrade to any version earlier than XCS 6.110. The

HSV200-B and HSV210-B controllers require a minimum version of XCS 6.110.

Adding drive enclosures or expansion racks

Adding drive enclosures or expansion racks to an EVA must be performed by HP-authorized service

personnel. Adding an expansion rack must be completed while the array is offline. Contact HP Services

at http://www.hp.com/support for more information.

Enhancements

XCS 6.200 provide the following enhancements:

• Support for asynchronous data replication with arrays running VCS 3.110

• Increased virtual device mapping space (to 120 TB on EVA4x00/6x00 and to 300 TB on EVA8x00)

to enable better utilization of large capacity disk drives

• Support for Microsoft Windows Server 2008

• Added Asynchronous LUN Access (ALUA) support for Solaris hosts

• Create a DR group or add and remove DR group members in asynchronous mode

Additional operating system support

Support for the following operating systems was added since the release of XCS 6.110:

• VMWare ESX 2.5.5, 3.0.2, 3.5.0

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.5, 5.0, 5.1

• HP OpenVMS 8.3–1H1 (IA64)

• IBM AIX 6.1

• Microsoft Windows Server 2008

• Apple Mac OS X 10.4.7, 10.4.8, 10.4.9, 10.4.10, 10.4.11, 10.5, 10.5.1

• Citrix XenServer Enterprise 4.10-7846 (Integrated Citrix XenServer HP Enterprise Edition) with the

following guest operating systems and failover software supported:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.1

• SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP1

• Microsoft Windows 2003 x64

• ServiceGuard for Linux and Native Device Mapper MPIO
