• To have an asynchronous data replication with arrays with VCS 3.110, first the DR Group

creation must be in synchronous mode and wait for normalization to complete and then the

replication mode needs to be changed to asynchronous mode.

• Redundancy (Vraid) level for the destination member should be same as the source for XCS

6.250 and VCS 3.110.

I/O issue with raw devices and Oracle MPxIO multipathing

When the EVA is connected to an Oracle Solaris host running Oracle MPxIO Multipathing, an

issue with the MPxIO stack and the emlx driver may affect I/O with raw devices under certain

conditions. To avoid this issue, set the load balancing policy to none when using raw device access.
