HP B-series Fabric OS 7.1.0c Release Notes (5697-2892, October 2013 - includes all 7.1.0x versions)

All platforms operating with Fabric OS 7.1.0c must be managed with HP B-series Network Advisor
12.0.2 or later. FICON support for Fabric OS 7.1.0c starts with Network Advisor 12.0.2. For
updates, see the latest Network Advisor release notes.
The following platforms using Fabric OS 6.4.2a, 7.0.0c, or 7.0.0d may also interoperate in a
fabric with switches running Fabric OS 7.1.0c:
• HP DC SAN Backbone Director Switch
• HP DC04 SAN Director Switch
• HP 8/80 48-ports Enabled SAN Switch
• HP 8/40 24-ports Enabled SAN Switch
• HP 1606 SAN Extension Switch
• HP 4/256 SAN Director
Platforms operating with Fabric OS 7.0.0c or 7.0.0d may be managed with HP B-series Network
Advisor 12.0.2.
The following platforms are not supported for interoperability in fabrics with switches using Fabric
OS 7.x:
• Brocade M6140
• Brocade Mi10K
• Brocade 7500/7500E
• HP 400 Multi-protocol Router
