12. Disconnect all external connections from the host computer or computers to the storage system
and remove these cables from the cabinet, leaving the internal Fibre Channel and service
processor connections intact when possible.
13. Insert dust plugs into all system Fibre Channel ports and secure all Fibre Channel, Ethernet,
and serial cables remaining inside the cabinet with the cable management system (“Securing
Cables with the Cable Management Clips” (page 160)).
NOTE: When dressing the cables to the node ports, provide several inches of slack (a service
loop) so the node disk can be serviced from the front of the system without disconnecting
cables.
