HP 3PAR System Reporter 2.9 Requirements Supported HP 3PAR System Reporter 2.9 Host Platforms Component Requirement Operating System Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (32- or 63-bit), or Microsoft Windows 2003 (32- or 64-bit), or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 (32-bit only if using Oracle, 32- or 64-bit otherwise). Processor Intel Pentium 4 processor, 3 GHz or higher.
MySQL is the recommended database. The MySQL database may be on a remote database server host, not necessarily on the machine on which System Reporter is installed. Known Issues Item Description Older versions of the Excel client custom report cannot be upgraded to the new Excel client. The entire architecture of the Excel client has been enhanced and so backward compatibility is not possible. Workaround: Recreate the report using the newer version of the Excel client for System Reporter.
Item Description Some “order by” values are not evaluated correctly when using the Microsoft SQL database. System Reporter displays an error generated by the Microsoft SQL database when choosing certain “order by” values. Workaround: Remove the offending “order by” value from the selection list. Permissions to v$instance and v$version views are required when using System Reporter with the Oracle database.
