Adaptive Optimization
improvements
The following improvements were made to Adaptive
Optimization algorithms:
• In order to reduce extra data movement due to
compactcpg calls after AO region moves are done,
‘compactcpg –trimonly’ is used when the CPG is not close
to any of the limits and when the free space for each of
the usr,sd spaces is less than 3 times the grow size.
• The threshold parameters for data movement have been
slightly tweaked to make the barrier to data movement
a bit higher. This was also done to reduce the amount of
extra data movement.
The alertconfig_1 table
upgraded to alertconfig_2
The alertconfig_1 table has been upgraded to alertconfig_2.
The condition_code and condition_val parameters have been
added, which allow additional conditions to be specified for
certain alerts.
Allow Alert Rules to be edited You can now edit existing Alert Rules. Previously, in order to
change an Alert Rule you had to remove it and add a new one
instead.
