3PAR Storage Replication Adapter for VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager 5.0 Implementation Guide

The VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager communicates with HP 3PAR Remote Copy Software
for storage replication through the HP 3PAR SRA. The HP 3PAR SRA provides information about
Remote Copy volume groups that exist in HP 3PAR Storage Systems to Site Recovery Manager.
The Site Recovery Manager identifies datastores and RDM devices in the Remote Copy volume
group (also referred to as consistency groups). These datastores and RDM devices have
corresponding virtual volumes in the Remote Copy volume group and replicates between the
protected site and the recovery site.
