9.2 HP 3PAR Replication Adapter Configuration

The following are the HP 3PAR Replication Adapter configuration items in vCenter Site

Recovery (View > Solutions and Applications > Site Recovery):

■ Add Array Manager

◆ Display Name

◆ Manager Type

Select Array 3PAR Native Interface manager type for HP 3PAR Replication

Adapter.

◆ IP Address

IP address of the HP 3PAR Storage System (located at the protected site or recovery

site) providing storage replication.

◆ Username

HP 3PAR Storage System user name that HP 3PAR Replication Adapter uses to

connect to the storage system.

◆ Password

HP 3PAR Storage System user password that HP 3PAR Replication Adapter uses to

connect to storage system.

■ Review Replicated Datastores

The Review Replicated Datastores item displays the list of replicated datastores

(VMFS volume and virtual disk) and RDMs based on HP 3PAR Remote Copy volume

group setup and how datastores and RDMs use a volume group.

A virtual volume within the volume group participates in the virtual infrastructure

replication whenever datastores or RDMs are mapped to it. Otherwise, a virtual

volume remains in the volume group without participating in the virtual

infrastructure replication and the corresponding VLUN information is not shown in

the review replicated datastores.
