9. When createmigration command is used with –srchost option where a volume exposed
to the specific host is already migrated with singlevv option, the migration will fail.
Workaround: When a volume exported to a host is migrated using the singlevv option, all
the other volumes that this host is exposed to must be migrated using the -srcvolmap option
of createmigration command with singlevv option enabled.
10. Optional parameters are not validated in CLI commands. If all mandatory parameters are
correct, the command will get executed successfully even if the optional parameters are
incorrect. For example, if you issue addsource with the optional parameter name, and the
specified name is incorrect, the command is still executed successfully.
11. For Online Windows Cluster migration: if NPIV ports are not configured properly, the following
error message may appear: Admit has failed. Volume XXXXXXXXXXXXX was not
admitted.
Workaround: If this error message displays, verify the NPIV port configuration.
12. The status of a migration displays as failed but the showmigrationdetails command
output displays all volumes are in progress or completed.
Workaround: Issue the startmigration command again to reset the status of migration.
13. Migrations will happen successfully for a subset of volumes under the same volume set for first
time, however, for subsequent migrations the error message may appear: Name of WWID
of volume already exists error.
Workaround: Remove the volumes from the volume set and retry the migration.
14. When migrating host set/volume set, the createmigration command may fail with the
following error message:
ERROR: OIUERRDST0003 The 3PAR array is not in an useable state.
OIURSLDST0003 Contact HP support.
Workaround: Verify that host set /volume set name does not contain any special character.
15. The -listcols option doesn’t work with the showmigrationdetails command.
