adddestination
Adds a destination system.
DESCRIPTION
The adddestination command adds a destination storage system to the Peer Motion Utility that
is intended to be migrated.
While adding a new source or destination HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage System that has 3.1.2 MU3
P16 or later applied, the following error message appears:
“ERROR: OIUERRDST0010 Unable to validate
certificate. OIURSLDST0010 Use TPDCertVerifier.bat to update trust
source at <filepath>\InformMC\security\HP-3PAR-MC-TrustSource.” If this error
occurs, perform the following steps to add a destination:
NOTE: This procedure is only applicable to HP 3PAR OS 3.1.2 MU3 P16 or HP 3PAR OS 3.1.3,
all versions.
NOTE: If you have already added one HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage System that has HP 3PAR
OS 3.1.2 MU3 P16 or later, the HP-3PAR-MC-TrustStore file will be updated for that storage system.
The same HP-3PAR-MC-TrustStore file should be updated for all other HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage
Systems that you want to add as a source or destination storage system.
1. Login to the server where HP 3PAR Peer Motion Utility is running.
2. Locate the trust source as displayed in the error message. Copy the file HP-3PAR-MC-TrustStore,
if available, to the logged in user’s home directory at: \InFormMC\security.You can use the
echo command, %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH% to find the current user’s home directory.
3. Browse to the install location C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\hp3parpmu\bin via
the command prompt and run the TPDCertVerifier.bat.
4. Enter the IP address of 3PAR StoreServ and see its certificate details. If you accept the certificate,
the trust store will be updated at user’s home directory.
5. Replace the existing trust store file as displayed in the error message with the updated trust
store file at the user’s home directory.
6. Perform adddestination again to add HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage System.
