Controller Nodes
The controller nodes is a storage system component that caches and manages data in a system
and provides the hosts with a comprehensive, virtualized view of the system. The controller nodes
are located at the rear of the node enclosure.
The HP 3PAR StoreServ 7450 Storage system has either two nodes or four nodes. The two-node
configuration contains two nodes numbered 0 and 1. The four-node configuration is numbered 0
and 1 on the bottom, and 2 and 3 on the top.
