Adding Hard Drives
There are five processes for adding hard drives:
• Checking initial status
• Inserting hard drives
• Checking status
• Checking progress
• Completing the upgrade
Checking Initial Status
Under Systems, select Physical Disks, and in the right pane, select the Physical Disks tab.

Inserting Hard Drives
In this example, two hard drives are added to each of the three enclosures.
Checking Status
The display refreshes periodically, and you should see the inserted hard drives as New in the State
column. They are ready to be admitted into the system, which occurs automatically.
