2. When volume set is presented to host set and volume-based migration is triggered, all volumes
of set are migrated and presented to all hosts of the host set.

3. volmap file – If volume set based migration is triggered through volmap file parameter, then
the set name should specified in file preceded by set, the expected behavior will be same as
either 1 or 2 (above) based on presentation of volume set (either to host/host set).
Command syntax: createmigration -sourceuid 270002AC001BA1 –volmapfile
“c:\volmapfilename.txt” where volmap file contains one or more volume set details
to be migrated.
Volume Set Offline Migration
1. Volume set can be migrated in offline mode. In offline migrations, all volumes of set are
migrated to destination storage system.
Command syntax: createmigration -sourceuid 270002AC001BA1
-srcvolmap"[{set:volset1, thin, TEST_CPG}]" -destcpg TEST_CPG
-destprov thin –migtype offline
