1 Overview of HP 3PAR OS This release notes document describes the modifications and known issues for Patch 02. The application of this patch is intended for HP 3PAR OS 3.1.3.202(GA). NOTE: This patch must be installed before upgrading HP 3PAR OS 3.1.3 GA to HP 3PAR OS 3.1.3 MU1. Modifications to the HP 3PAR OS The purpose of this patch is to prevent a rare race condition that causes a service interruption on systems using TPVVs. This release addresses the following item: Issue number Description 103891 A rare race condition can cause a service interruption on systems utilizing TPVVs (Thin Provisioned Virtual Volumes).
