1.5 What's New in this Patch
Patch 16 supports new self-signed 2048-bit RSA SSL certificate for HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage.
Upon completion of the upgrade to this patch, a new self-signed SSL certificate will be created.
HP 3PAR Remote CLI clients, HP 3PAR Management Console, 3PAR Recovery Manager, and/or
any other client applications communicating to the HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage system over SSL
must be upgraded to newer versions to use the new certificate.
An administrator with SUPER privilege may regenerate the SSL certificate using the createcert
command. Information about createcert can be viewed by executing createcert h. It is
the responsibility of the administrator to distribute the information about the new SSL certificate
to users.
Any user can display the information about the SSL certificate using the showcert command.
Information about showcert can be viewed by executing showcert h.
