Workaround: Use Internet Explorer 8 or 9 or Mozilla Firefox 14 or 15 to access Online Help.
1.3.4 Cannot create direct RWSS from a group of baseVVs (Issue 79230)
HP 3PAR Management Console can only create read-only snapshots if specified virtual volumes are
read-write. It cannot create direct RWSS from a group of baseVVs using Management Console. HP
3PAR OS 3.1.2 now supports creation of RW snapshots from RW bases (or snapshots), instead of
only from RO snapshots.
Workaround: Use the CLI command.
1.3.5 Minimally Disruptive Migration for Windows 2003 MSCS cluster in Peer Motion
fails (Issue 81875)
In Peer Motion, Minimal Disruptive Migration for Windows 2003 involves shutting down the cluster
host before the Import Volumes step is performed in the Peer Motion Manager Migration Data wizard.
There is no warning stating that the cluster host need to be shutdown first before you click Finish. As
a result, the virtual volumes will not be admitted.
Workaround: None
1.3.6 User Interface of the LDAP config wizard hang when character are entered fast
and randowm in the Group DN and User Group DN fields (Issue 83921)
HP 3PAR Management Console UI hangs if user enters fast and random characters in the Group DN
or User Group DN fields in the LDAP config wizard.
Workaround: Type slowly when entering data for the Group DN or User Group DN fields.
1.3.7 During Active Thin Reclamation the Used User Size does not update immediately
(Issue 85830)
During active thin reclamation in the Used User Size does not decrease in real time as it does in the
CLI.
Workaround: None
1.3.8 Extraneous Japanese characters display in the Search Results Field of the HP 3PAR
Management Console Online Help (Issue 94749)
When using the Online Help search function on Japanese versions of the HP 3PAR Management
Console, extraneous Japanese characters appear in the Search Results field.
Workaround: This issue will be addressed in a future release.
1.3.9 Peer Motion fails to import all volumes selected, continues to migrate after error
message displays (Issue 98150)
Peer Motion fails to popup an error message if the destination user CPG size is insufficient.
Workaround: You will have to calculate disk CPG space to ensure that there is sufficient space for
all the volumes added. You can still fix the disk issue at the destination StoreServ then resume the
import operation for the remaining volumes.
1.3.10 Peer Motion fails to start import on all the volumes reports; “error importing
volume_name - An import operation is currently running on this VV” (Issue 98255)
Peer Motion fails to start import on all the volumes when import operation disrupted.
