1.1 What’s New in the Management Console

The HP 3PAR Management Console allows you to administer all of your HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage

systems from a single management window, including remote systems used for replication. A single

screen provides a dashboard view of all your connected HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage systems, regardless

of model, as well as graphical charts and tables representing important system data and remote

replication configurations.

1.1.1 New Features

HP 3PAR Management Console 4.5 introduces new management functionality for the following features.

Unless otherwise noted, these features are supported with HP 3PAR OS 3.1.3.

The Peer Motion online migration feature now provides support for the following:

• Single Virtual Volume online migration

• Windows Clusters using N-Port ID Virtualization (NPIV) ports

Priority Optimization:

• Latency Goal

• Minimum Goal

• Virtual Domain Support

Peer Persistence:

• Manual switchover orchestration (supported on HP 3PAR OS 3.1.2 MU2 and newer)

Adaptive Optimization advanced reporting:

• Non-Cumulative Space Move reports (supported on HP 3PAR OS 3.1.2 MU2 and newer)
