InForm OS Version 2.3.1 Release 2.3.1 MU2 P12 Release Notes
These release notes are for Patch 12 (P12) of the 3PAR InForm OS 2.3.1.284 (MU2).
1.0 Supported Platforms
The 3PAR Configuration Matrix for InForm OS 2.3.1 contains information about supported
hardware and software platforms. Contact your local sales engineer or service representative
to obtain a copy, or find it online at http://www.3par.com.
Use your 3PAR login user ID to search
the Document Control System for the latest version of the Configuration Matrix.

3.0 Modifications to the InForm OS
The following items have been addressed in this release.
NOTE: Applying this patch to the InForm OS may cause a restart of the System
Manager. When the System Manager is restarted, events and alerts will be
generated and are expected behavior. The system will continue to serve data, but
existing CLI and/or IMC sessions may be interrupted.

The SSH interface to the CLI client code does not
properly construct a changed root jail for user
signing on. This fix prevents CLI SSH users from
accessing files outside the chroot jail.
