2.2.5 Changing Temporary Space Location
This section describes how to change the InstallAnywhere temporary space location on
Windows, Solaris and Linux systems. See Table 2-5 for instructions.
2.3 Installation
The following section describes how to install the InForm Administration Tools on remote
systems running under compatible Microsoft® Windows®, Sun™ Solaris™, and Linux®
operating environments.
2.3.1 Before Installing
Prior to installing the InForm Administration Tools:
 Shut down all running applications and disable virus-checking software, especially any
active system management sessions (InForm Management Console or CLI).
 Uninstall any previous versions of the administration software.
