In addition to managing the InServ storage system with the InForm CLI, the 3PAR InForm OS
includes an SNMP agent that allows you to perform some basic management functions via
network management software running on a management station. These SNMP management
functions require that you have SNMP management software not provided by 3PAR (refer to
Chapter 15, SNMP, in the InForm OS Concepts Guide for information about SNMP).
