3PAR InForm Operating System Release Notes InForm OS Version 2.3.1
3.5 Known Issues with the InForm CLI
41864 Running growaldvv via SSH
fails due to memory limits.
When running via SSH, the command is limited by
a hard memory limit placed on the process by the
InForm OS. For 2.3.1, the memory limits have been
increased on the T-Class and F-Class systems since
those platforms have more physical memory. Also,
the processing of the candidate disk pattern (the –
p option) is now done by the InForm OS rather
than the CLI process, which reduced the amount of
memory needed to successfully run the command.
43181 Passing too many alert IDs to
the
setalert command
causes the CLI server to fail.
Due to limitations in the size of the command that
the CLI Server can accept from a CLI client, a limit
of 99 alert Ids is now enforced for any single
setalert command.
