InForm OS Version 2.3.1 3PAR InForm Operating System Release Notes
showvv (cont’d)
The capacity columns have changed.
There are now columns that provide data on the
amount of space reserved and the amount of raw
space reserved for adm, snp, and usr spaces of a
volume.
New columns display the total reserved and total
raw reserved space for a volume and the virtual
size of the volume, i.e. the size that the host sees
when the volume is exported.
The output of the showvv –g command has
changed. A new SctSz column displays the sector
size of the volume.
The output of the showvv –alert command has
changed.
Displays of the Name, Prov, and Type columns
described above are the same for this command.
Because usr and snp space can be managed
separately, there are columns to display the
warning and limit settings for both snp and usr
space of a volume.
New columns display the used space as a
percentage of the virtual size of the volume for
usr and snp space.
New column to display the virtual size of the
volume, i.e. the size that the host sees when the
volume is exported.
New separate columns for failure alerts on adm,
snp, and usr spaces of volumes. New separate
columns for warning and limit threshold alerts on
snp and usr space of volumes.
