InForm OS Version 2.3.1 3PAR InForm Operating System Release Notes

■ The default output of the showvv command has
changed:
◆ The Name column is now left justified. Also, by
default, the command will show the volume
names in a tree structure. Volumes are displayed
in alphabetical order with child volumes
displayed along with parent volumes and slightly
indented.
◆ The Type column and its comma separated
contents has been replaced by two columns. A
new Prov column displays the Provisioning for
the VV. The Type column now displays the type
of the volume. Please refer to the column help
(clihelp –col showvv) or the 3PAR InForm OS
CLI Reference Guide for details about the
possible values for these columns.
◆ The CopyOf column is now left justified.
◆ The State column has been replaced by
Detailed_State and can show multiple comma
separated states when a VV is not in a normal
state.
◆ The capacity columns have changed. Three
columns show the amount of space reserved for
the usr, snp, and adm space of a volume. A fourth
column shows the virtual size of the volume, i.e.
the size that the host sees when the volume is
exported.
◆ The total lines have been cleaned up. There is
one total line now instead of two. It includes
totals for the capacity columns described above.
