The behavior of the –cnt option has changed. By
default use of the –cnt will create multiple volumes
that do not share underlying logical disks. Also,
users can now create multiple volumes that extend
an existing sequence of volumes by specifying the
cnt option and last volume of the existing
sequence.
New –shared option specifies that the system
should attempt to share underlying logical disks
when creating multiple volumes.
New –wait option provides the ability to control
the amount of time to wait for uninitialized
chunklets to be cleaned before returning.
Because user and snapshot space can be managed
separately, the –snp_cpg, -snp_aw, and –snp_al
options can now be used with all volume types. If
snp_cpg is not specified, the volume will not have
snapshot space associated to it. Snapshots cannot be
taken until snapshot space is subsequently
associated with the volume.
New –retain option provides the ability to specify
a minimum retention time for a volume.
New –exp option provides the ability to specify
when a volume will expire.
New –comment option allows for annotation of
volumes.
Support for Zero Detection policy for base thin
provisioned volumes
freespace
The –keepld option has been removed.
