createtpvv ■ Because user and snapshot space can be managed
separately, the –aw and –al options have been
removed and replaced by -usr_aw, -usr_al, -
snp_aw, and –snp_al.
■ New –snp_cpg option specifies the name of the
CPG from which the snapshot space will be
allocated. If –snp_cpg is not specified, the volume
will not have snapshot space associated to it.
Snapshots cannot be taken until snapshot space is
subsequently associated with the volume.
■ New –retain option provides the ability to specify a
minimum retention time for a volume.
■ New –exp option provides the ability to specify
when a volume will expire.
■ New –comment option allows for annotation of
volumes.
■ Support for Zero Detection policy for base thin
provisioned volumes.
